Grievance Redressal Support

The institute is committed to provide an environment that promotes diversity and respects everyone regardless of color, religious belief or cultures. While maintaining diversity of all kinds, it also commits to ensure protection of everyone rights including minorities and acting as per the provisions of constitution of India in such matters. In order to create a living and working environment, where all students feel safe and respected, there is a need to establish an SC/ST/OBC Cell with the following objectives:

• To counsel and guide SC, ST, OBC and Minority students studying at RBIENT on various issues and help them to manage academic and personal demands of a university life effectively.
• To ensure provisions for an environment where all such students feel safe and secure.
• To provide prompt counseling for any emotional emergencies arising on account of any events at the campus.
• To provide a mechanism to redress the grievances of SC, ST, OBC and minority students, if any
• To ensure protection and reservation as provided in the constitution of India
• To arrange for special opportunities to enhance the career growth of these students such as through Competitive Examination Cell

The SC/ST/OBC and Minorities Cell will provide comprehensive preventive and proactive services to all such students enrolled for various academic programmes in the university. The goal of the cell would be to enhance the psychological well being of SC/ST/OBC and Minority students at RBIENT so they can take full advantage of the educational opportunities at the institute.

As per notification of AICTE regarding Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe (prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, vide No.33 of 1989, dated 11.09.1989 Rayat Bahra Institute of Engg. & Nano Technology, Hoshiarpur  is committed to  follow the regulations and  eliminate the Atrocities against SC/ ST.

As per Section 4 of AICTE regarding Internal Complaint Committee (General Sensitization, Prevention and Prohibition of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students and Redressal of Grievances in Technical Institution) Regulation, 2016. Rayat Bahra Institute of Engg. & Nano Technology, Hoshiarpur is committed to follow the regulations of General Sensitization, Prevention and Prohibition of Sexual Harassmentof Women Employees and Students and redresses the Grievances. Minority & BC Committee

As per notification of AICTE regarding Minority & BC Atrocity (prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, vide No.33 of 1989, dated 11.09.1989 Rayat Bahra Institute of Engg. & Nano Technology, Hoshiarpur is committed to follow the regulations and eliminate the Atrocities against BC & Minority. As per notification of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) regarding prevention and prohibition of ragging vide no. 37-3/ Legal/AICTE/2009 dated 1-7-2009,    Rayat Bahra Institute of Engg. & NanoTechnology, Hoshiarpur is committed to follow the regulations and eliminate the ragging in the Institute as well as in Hostels.
